About The Miners Hut

The Miners Hut aims to provide a one stop shop for fossickers, mineral collectors, and treasure hunters alike. We sell a wide range of minerals, fossils, gemstone jewellery and fossicking equipment, including Minelab Metal Detectors.

The Miners Hut is where people from all walks of life can meet, enjoy and learn more about their interests in a relaxed casual atmosphere.

We have spontaneous show and tell sessions, where everyone is welcome to bring in things of interest to show off and share their knowledge with like minded people.

The Miners Hut Mission Statement is: Sharing Knowledge, Inspiring Experience.

I have been involved with minerals and fossils all my life. I studied gemology at the gemological society and I'm a member of the mineralogical society of NSW.

I love minerals with a passion and genuinely wish to share my enthusiasm with anyone who is interested.
